For me, the messier and more difficult part of resin 3d printing has been post-processing. Having to clean the prints in alcohol is always a messy process and highly inconsistent for me. This greatly reduces the hassle that comes with the after print process. You can always use cheaper methods to achieve similar results, but if you can get one you will not regret your decision at all.
After watching lots of videos on resin printing and seeing how much work is involved compared to FDM printing I was pretty much turned off by the idea of getting into resin printing. The features of this system are just awesome. Washing and curing in one unit. Easy to set up and operate. The unit will stop if you the cover. It offers us better protection.
The only thing I would put as a warning. None of the functions work without the protective cover on. This makes sense for the curing mode but was very confusing when I was attempting to clean some prints the first time. If you're having second thoughts about getting into resin printing because of all the work it entails, get this machine!
This machine makes the post-printing process so much cleaner and easier. No more swirling printed parts around in a jar of IPA with tongs. It's well designed and it does its job well. It's hard to point to a single thing, but it makes what is often the most tedious parts of resin printing faster and more enjoyable.
If you can spare the funds and are thinking about this device, I strongly recommend making the purchase.
