The enclosure is plug and play and works fine. There is no problem. The only thing I didn't realize is that it wasn't compatible with IDE interface, so when I tried to use one it didn't work, but that's my fault for not reading all the way. Drives are easy to install and remove from the enclosure. No tools are required, the hard drive can be installed in 3 seconds. If you do not read or write for 10 minutes, it will automatically hibernate to protect the hard disk and automatically wake up when reading data. This is definitely a good choice and is recommended for external storage.
This HDD enclosure is 2.5 inches which is average laptop hard drive size. You just put the hard drive inside, plug it up to another computer and in a few seconds you can open up the folders on the hard drive for viewing, uploading or whatever you need to do with them. The charging port on my old laptop is broken. Since the machine is really old, it is not worth repairing, so I removed the hard drive and put it in this hard drive case, which is very convenient. It only takes 3 seconds to install.
For me, backing up data is very important. There are several older hard drives in my house, all of which are 2.5-inch SATA, so I bought this hard drive enclosure just to get all the data out of it and to have some extra storage space when needed. Having an extra external drive would help, but what really matters is that I have the opportunity to back up photos I have taken for years. Thanks to this hard disk enclosure, this memory module has come a long way. A wonderful shopping experience.
yes you can use this drive case as intended, perhaps to access an old laptops drive more easily or you can go stealthy. plug this item in and the blue light goes on. try to access your money from the bank thru this? very easy- just slide open case. wonders of wonders you can easily stash $2,000 in $100 bills. your friends will thank you and unless your going through an xray machine no one else must know.
Très bon produit je trouve avec un très bon voire excellent rapport qualité prix.
Par contre le disque dur pour lequel je lui réservais l'utilisation est tout simplement inutilisable avec au moins 4h de recherches et utilisation massive de solution alors que le DD fonctionne parfaitement.
Bref avec un autre DD il fonctionne donc mise en garde tout de même vous risquez de ne peut-être pas pouvoir utiliser votre disque dur avec ce boitier.
