I really like being able to use them to monitor energy consumption, and I love that they connect directly to wifi rather than requiring some sort of iot hub. They are super easy to set up, and the eWeLink app works very nicely to control them. If TP-Link could just figure out a way to make them a little more friendly neighbors on a duplex outlet, they'd be perfect. They should at least not block the outlet under them, but unfortunately they do, so that its difficult or impossible to plug in another cord under one of these on the same outlet. These work great with Google. They were a bit tricky to install due to the WiFi requirements, but once you get past that technical hurdle, these smart switches are fantastic!

These Wi-Fi plugs are great in their functionality and app support. Setup on these was not that hard and kinda involves two steps after you you've loaded the eWeLink app. This app provides directions and prompts, it is easy as long as you have your wireless routers info ready. The energy use info is neat but just use the mini's and save the outlet space. But they are just too big for my liking. They block both plugs on a standard outlet. Their power monitoring is mostly accurate unless you are nit picking against lab grade equipment.

If you have it too close to your bed it may bother you at night, of course if you are sleeping they switch will likely be off and only buzz when is on.
Works good. I put one of these outside in an outlet, under an overhung roof. Still working fine even though it's been about 200 ft from my window mounted router. I have the eWeLink app on both my phone and my tablet and it works great for on-off and scheduled operation. I also have have these linked to my echo dot and can use voice commands to operate all my eWeLink linked Smart Plugs.

They work perfectly with the eWeLink application. As long as you are connected to the Internet in any way, you can access them. I have used plugs that can control thousands of miles away (using a camera and a good family member for visual testing). Due to their size, they are a bit clumsy and take up the entire socket, but I use a socket extender to solve this problem. If you are experiencing internet problems, you can easily control the plug with the On / Off button on the plug.

Nice products, the plugs are wonderful, I have six of these in my house now, I like every aspect of these except their massive size, they work as they should, however you need to have the app for them to work. Once you install the app and set them up, then you can control them with Alexa, I guess the same goes for Google but I only have Alexa. I gave them 4 stars because at least one of them for some reason lost connection to the Internet and I have to set it up again.
